100% Plant Warranty

All plant material is 100 percent guaranteed through October 1 of the installation year. Our guarantee depends greatly on the proper care of plant material. Replacement is one-time only. Plant materials subject to improper care (overwatering, no watering), animal damage, and natural causes beyond control carry no guarantee. 

Plant material not installed by Signature Landscapes, plants subject to non-approved automated irrigation systems, and accounts not paid in 30 days will void the guarantee. 

Hardscape Limited Warranty

Labor on all hardscape projects such as patios, retaining walls, and water features have a nontransferable 10-year limited warranty. All hardscape projects are expected to move, shift, and settle evenly over time. The warranty will cover any drastic or unacceptable movement, shifting, or settling on projects 100 percent installed by Signature Landscapes. The warranty will not cover areas within 24” of a  footing or basement foundation.

Labor on low-maintenance deck projects carries a nontransferable 10-year limited warranty. Warranty is dependent on proper maintenance of the deck according to manufacturers’ recommendations.

This warranty does not cover deficiencies (i.e. cracks, blemishes, or discoloration) in materials such as wood, stone, concrete, vinyl, fiberglass, etc. Most of the products we use carry their guarantees and we will follow those.

We believe our warranties are the best in the industry. We, at Signature Landscapes, take pride in the work that we do and will stand behind our work 100 percent. All materials carry their own manufacturer's warranty.

Unilock Transferable Lifetime Guarantee

Unilock provides a Transferable Lifetime Guarantee on the structural integrity of our paving stones, slabs, retaining wall units, and natural stone for residential use. Any materials installed and maintained to our guidelines — and subject to normal wear — that prove defective will be replaced without cost. Color matching cannot be guaranteed and replacement labor is not included.

• Warranty work shall be completed in a workmanlike manner within a reasonable time subject to material availability or other matters over which Signature Landscapes has no control
• Pavers are designed to move up and down with the freeze-thaw cycle but typically return to place once the ground is thawed in the late spring
• Pavers are also individual pieces and can have up to a 1/8” difference in height. Our warranty will cover a height change of 1/4”. Anything that is a tripping hazard or holds water will fall under our warranty
• Warranty work on landscapes over 30 miles from Fargo, ND will be subject to a fuel surcharge

Foundation Settling Information

The Red River Valley is notorious for movement due to the clay soils in our area. We take steps to prevent settling around or near the foundation to combat future settling issues. That being said, we are at the mercy of your home builder and proper backfill will affect the amount of movement on your property.

• If your pavers must be repaired multiple times due to backfill settling, we will wait until the fall to repair your patio in hopes that it will minimize the trips needed to repair your patio
• Foundation settling in your landscape beds is NOT covered under our warranty. Our crew members typically build up dirt to the bottom of your siding to take into account future settling. We also pack the dirt around your foundation to make sure we have as much compaction as possible. Your landscape may settle to a negative grade along your house due to improper backfilling and it will be billed as time and material to fix the issue

A personal walk-through will allow us to determine the areas in question and also determine the cause of the settling to prevent future issues.
